At Home
Exhibition in London

Professor of Architecture Cat Rossi has co-curated with Dr Jana Scholze and Professor Penny Sparke of Kingston University At Home, an exhibition at the Stanley Picker Gallery in London.

At Home consists of four films which each explore a key theme of domesticity: shelter, identities, well-being and connectivity. Created by the artists, designers and researchers Martha Rosler, Noam Toran, Superflux, and Simone Niquille between 1989 and 2021, the films offer a critical reflection on the values and meanings of the home in the past, present and future.

The exhibition continues the three curators research into At Home, first explored in the exhibition At Home: panorama de nos vie domestiques at the 2022 Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne.

As part of the exhibition, the Gallery is opening up its lobby area as a ‘living room’ space for the local community to use. The exhibition will run until the 23rd February 2023. The Gallery is closed for Christmas from 20th to 2nd January.
