MA Architecture + MA Urban Design Exhibition @ The Herbert Read Gallery

10 POSITIONS in Architecture and Urban Design

The exhibition is a showcase of work by students from the MA Architecture and MA Urban Design courses at UCA Canterbury School of Architecture. The projects on display span from the microcosmic scale of insects and molecules to the macro scale of global, socioeconomic and political forces. A range of media including drawings, models, kinetic constructions and 1:1 spatial installations has been used to investigate specific themes of observer engagement and human perception as common between the divergent areas of specialism. Collectively the projects can be read as an exploration of how complex and intense interventions might be inserted into pre-existing contexts in a manner that simultaneously affords critical debate and experiential delight.
