We are pleased to announce a Multistory guest lecture by: Tomas Klassnik // Director of The Klassnik Corporation Thursday 25th April 2013 // Drinks 5.30pm // Lecture 6pm // The Architecture Foyer // Tomas Klassnik is an architect and founder of The Klassnik Corporation, a London based interdisciplinary design practice focused on creating engaging experiences through architecture, art and events. Recent built projects include a Ping Pong Parlour in Soho, studio and gallery spaces in Shoreditch, landscape interventions for the 2012 London Olympics and a Pop Out Shop for Puma. Other projects include proposals to adapt cities affected by climate change, augmenting historic landmarks on London’s skyline and a séance to contact the spirit of Le Corbusier. Tomas currently teaches at Chelsea College of Art with a research agenda focused on reinventing the High Street and has taught at the Architectural Association, RCA and Bartlett. // Multistory is a student and alumni led guest lecture programme series at Canterbury School of Architecture, University for the Creative Arts that seeks to invite architects, designers, writers, curators, photographers and artists to speak about their work. www.cantarch.com ww.ucreative.ac.uk www.ucasu.com
