Jack, amongst a variety of things is an Architect, writer/ editor and curator based in London. He is the director of the REAL foundation, an Architectural Review Editor and co-curator of the 2016 British Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.

The REAL Foundation (of which Jack is a co-director) mission is cultural enquiry and cultural production whilst promoting original research in innovation in the built environment. Aiming to influence how and where we live, and the conditions of that life.

Alongside the REAL Foundation, Jack is co-founder of the newly incepted REAL Review, a bi-monthly magazine about architecture and spatial practice. From housing shortages to the end of civic space, bringing insightful, timely and engaging reviews.

Jack also founded Fulcrum, a free weekly-based publication at the Architectural Association, which still remains the world’s most read student publication about architecture. It pursued “architecture and the third millennium”.

Jack’s first book titled “Real Estates: Life Without Debt” explores the moral, political and economic ramifications of property and ownership in neoliberal debt economies. It holds essays by Pier Vittorio Aureli, Sam Jacob and Finn Williams.
