MULTISTORY* Guest Lecture Simon Pruciak & Alex Reddaway Thurs 22nd March

We are pleased to announce a MULTISTORY* Guest lecture by

Simon Pruciak + Alex Reddaway // Journey Limitless

Thursday 22nd March 2018 // Lecture 6pm // The Architecture Foyer

Simon is a lens based media lecturer at his alma mater in UCA, Canterbury, and Alex is an Engineer having studied Structural Engineering with Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. The couple share an obsession with travel and its particular link to exploration and experience.

In July 2016, they set off for Brazil to commence a round the world adventure which would take them 360 days through 40 countries and across 45,000km on their motorbikes. With the objective to live in the landscape as far as practicable, they mostly camped or stayed with locals and travelled by land unless impossible.

The objective was moulded by an art research project on Creative Geographies and the journey was recorded visually and with daily diary keeping. The adventure was punctuated with occasions where mere survival was the primary focus so the project morphed into not only an investigation of the landscape or territories but of simple human endeavour.
