MULTISTORY* Spring 2017/2018 Line-up



We’re delighted to announce our extraordinary MULTISTORY* 2017/2018 Spring line-up of open lectures.

Kicking things off will be Hikaru Nissanke & Jon Lopez of OMMX on Thursday 18th January at 1800.

This year, our speakers range again from writers, historians, artists, academics as well as architects, poets, developers and curators.
MULTISTORY* lectures run from 1800 – 1900 on Thursday evenings in the Architecture Foyer at UCA Canterbury, unless otherwise stated. Details for each event are posted here in advance.

SPRING 2017/2018

Hikaru Nissanke & Jon Lopez // OMMX

OMMX work on social housing, private residencies, galleries, shops and furniture amongst other commissions.
In 2017, they won a competition to design 22 experimental homes for not-for-profit house builder Naked House, back by the Mayor of London.

Kreider + O’Leary are a poet and an architect who collaborate to make performances, installation and time-based media work in relation to sites of architectural and cultural interest.

Simon Pruciak // Artist & Photographer

Simon Pruciak is a lens based artists whose work includes photography, moving image and installations. He is also interested in the interconnections between Buddhist and pre-Socratic philosophy and ways in which these continue to be reflected in contemporary western philosophy.

MULTISTORY* is a student and alumni led guest lecture programme series at Canterbury School of Architecture, University for the Creative Arts, seeking to invite architects, designers, writers, curators, photographers and artists to speak about their work.
