MULTSTORY Guest Lecture
Chris Romer Lee: Studio Octopi
Thurs 5th Nov 2015

We are pleased to announce a Multistory guest lecture by:

Chris Romer Lee \ Studio Octopi & Thames Bath CIC

Thursday 5th November 2015 6pm

Chris is co-founder of Studio Octopi, which established itself in 2003. He is also co-director of Thames Bath CIC. Chris has also taught at Kent University and has been a guest critic at Sheffield, Bath and London Metropolitan Universities.

Studio Octopi is an emerging practice in the UK and have in recent years undertaken some high profile projects, notably the refurbishment of the Delfina foundation and establishing the social enterprise Thames Bath CIC.

They respond creatively and intellectually to specific briefs and are inspired by the historical and environmental conditions of site, whilst combining inventiveness and contemporary application of materials to projects.

The Thames Bath CIC proposes to reintroduce swimming in the River Thames. It looks at re-establishing the intimacy and playfulness between Londoners and the historic lifeblood of the city.
